Kenwood introduced the tuner Kenwood Car KIV-700 dedicated to iPhone and iPod.

The Kenwood has a car accessory that could become invaluable to all types of vehicles: The KIV-700 tuner. This model is a next generation music player and is designed for those who listen to music “liquid”, ie users of iPod and iPhone in particular. This tuner, built specifically for iPod and iPhone, is marketed at a price of 332.90 euros. Even the refrain of the campaign seems guessed: bye-bye CD. A new car stereo has come for the foreseeable future.

Kenwood built an impressive list of features into its attractively-priced KDC-W313A CD/MP3 receiver. Its detachable face boasts an easy-to-see FL display and easy-to-use rotary control. The powerful internal amp (50Wx4 channels) stays clean, even when the music’s really pumping. System Q Sound Control whips the sound into shape with preset sound curves and tone controls.

Its Speaker Setting function lets you choose from three settings to tailor the KDC-W313A’s output to the speakers in your vehicle. Source tone memory stores a System Q setting for each source (CD, FM, AM).

Kenwood’s RDS tuner does a great job of pulling in and holding your favorite stations and if you’re into building a system, the KDC-W313A includes a set of preamp outputs to simplify adding outboard amplifiers.
