Let’s start by saying that the test was a bit disconcerting. Aesthetics .. anything innovative. Alpine usual line, though simple and elegant, but curious about the inclusion of the new slide bar.

Now we start with the functions just saying a few words on the new toolbar. It looks pretty, but it’s really uncomfortable. While taking his hand and understanding how to use it, you lose a lot of usage, and does not make rapid functions. Do not speak while driving. Best limited to simple change track and volume control, or risk dangerous distractions while driving.

Excellent interface x use of crossover and time delays. All very intuitive and simple. The crossover is very useful in a system using x 2-way, by adjusting the frequency and the slope is much scope for both the woofer to the tweeter, and is in a 3 way thanks to the “user “that can descend with the cutoff frequency for the high range below 50Hz. You can then use the bass to the woofer and the high range for the medium and tweeter in turn filtered passive. Obviously the sub-section is always devoted its two adjustable outputs.

For the delays is very useful the possibility of adjusting both ms in cm or inches.

The display looks the same as the earlier 9835.

Now we come to quality. The quality and optical reading system seems very robust and well recognized all types of media. The radio section is satisfactory. Not at Becker, but you can listen to the radio without going mad as it does to the poor quality of the Kenwood tuner.
The audio portion of power is part of the standard integrated amplifier. Rather disappointing Joining the PRE section. The quality seems to be very low compared with the previous 9835. Yes, they lowered the price while introducing the new touch-screen bar, and thus lowered the quality of the audio section. The sound is very cold and hard to find a setting that meets and can be defined: good idea, sounds great. Unfortunately can not express the sweetness and warmth that give the song expresses that we are listening. The sound is very clear and detailed especially in high range. The bass is very strong and braking. But I repeat that the sound quality does not come before 9835 at least.

I have a Kenwood KVT729dvd installed in the back of my car for my son who at the moment loves the wiggles… It is awesome it keeps him well entertained especially on long trips leaving me to concentrate on the road, and listen to my ipod which also connects to the DVD it self.
This DVD player is one of the most reliable of its kind. It comes with a large variety of options leaving you to ponder over whether to watch DVDs or play music.

The Kenwood DVD is a stylish 7inch widescreen colour touch control, with an open and close device, it comes with both angle and position adjustments to fit your comfort.
It has an audio control mode, security code, and illuminations/colour, Digital clock, and other useful features down below.
I have had great enjoyment with my DVD, I do recommend this product. And hope it gives you the same satisfactory.

JVC KD-AVX2 car radio User review

The JVC KD-AVX2 is a great, easy-to-use, feature-packed stereo. The oversized face should not be a problem for most vehicles. The faceplate height is the same as a conventional 1-DIN stereos outer trim ring. If youve had an aftermarket stereo in your car before and it fit WITH trim ring, you should be okay. The color LCD is sharp, bright, great color and contrast, easy to read even when sunny. Giga MP3 lets you play MP3s on DVDs for over 78-hours worth of continuous music. It supports multisession so you can add new tracks/folders later. Improved over the AVX1, the AVX2 remembers its position in the track when shut off. List browsing doesnt interrupted playback, and allows for very fast navigation of a DVD MP3 disc. My only complaint, it takes a full 35-seconds to start playing an MP3-filled DVD+RW when first turned on.

I also got the KS-PD100 iPod adapter and was a little disappointed to see the List browsing doesnt work with it. Navigating the iPod is very different and less intuitive than using an MP3 CD/DVD. However, once I got used to it, I can navigate with it just as quickly so overall the iPod integration is pretty good, but not perfect. It does display full titles and elapsed counter with the iPod. Tracks cue up instantly.

The tuner lacks preset buttons, but pressing up/down goes through the presets. Setting them is done in the List menu and takes many keystrokes and patience.

If you like eye candy, the AVX2 doesn’t really offer much. A few plain-looking wallpapers (several are different colors of the same thing), cant add your own, no animations or screensavers like Pioneer. It pretty much just displays text on a wallpaper, although text can auto-scroll.

This 2-din multimedia system comes with a crisp and clear 7 inch touch screen, is Navigation ready (requires optional NAV101 or NAV102 systems), Bluetooth ready (requires optional BTM10) and offers out-of-the-box connectivity for all personal media devices via the 2.5mm front panel A/V input.

The unit itself is resonbly, priced I installed it my self and is no more complicated than your average car deck. Adding the Navigation, Blue tooth, XM and Backup Video Camera Modules brought the total price to just a little over £450.

The unit perfoms well and the touch screen is great. If you google around you can find the video override code so you can play videos anytime. The main reason I got a Media Player for the car was my 3 year old. Pop in Finding Nemo and she quiets right down for those long car trips. If you budget concesions the Jensen Unit is great. And the moduels you need. The Bluetooth does not work with my blackberry. Yes I would recomend this product.
